About Pattern Matching & Scanners
The Scanner coupled with our cutting machines al- lows customers to cut their patterns without having to worry about the repeats. The scanning beam sits at the material end of the cutter and scans the material as it is being fed onto the cut- ter and doing so it registers where the repeats are in he fabric it will then create a nest ready to go through to the cutter. With its speed and precision the Scanning system, is helping custom- ers throughout the UK save time and energy when it comes to producing their products.
Leather Scanning is also available. With the use of an over head projector we are able to Scan whole hides and detect quality zones within the Hide. Once scanned, the pattern design software will automatically nest your patterns with the hide avoiding low quality zones and flaws within the hide, ensuring your pieces are always of the best quality.
