What is a textile feeding cradle?
A textile feeding cradle holds a material roll and unwinds it towards a cutting machine. The SAV 300/600 D uses driven double rollers, allowing the roll to sit between them without threading an unrolling bar through its core.
Other SAV models use an unrolling bar with a pneumatic brake. Edge control helps maintain alignment as the material feeds. The right system depends on the roll’s dimensions and weight, the material’s behaviour and the equipment it needs to supply.
