Colour Graphics have been established for 25 years in large format graphics and UV printing. They are known to their customers for exceptional print quality, customer service and flexibility. They and branched out into the expanding fabrics & soft signage market.
“Colour Graphics have branched out into the expanding fabrics and soft signage market and invested heavily acquiring an MTEX 5032 PRO high quality direct sublimation printer.” James Birch, Managing Director says: “The next step was to invest in a wide format finishing machine. We looked at all of the machines on the market and decided to buy a Bullmer ELC Premiumcut. We have been impressed with the machine, the accuracy and its capability of handling a wide range of fabrics and materials. The ELC cutter enabled us to expand even further into the fabric market and we created a new brand “FABRIX.co.uk”
“We have seen a huge increase in business from the fabric market and the Premiumcut has enabled us to cope with the demand. The 3.2m x 3.2m ELC cutter was a perfect fit, as it comes with an automatic unwinding system for fabric control and tension control with a variety of tools to handle the wide range of different materials which we need to cut.
It also delivers cutting speeds up to 120/minute and 2G acceleration of the cutting head and great accuracy of 0.1mm. The ELC cutter uses Optiscout software with camera recognition for job imports, making it a very open and extremely versatile system for the graphics industry”.
Overall Colour Graphics can now offer to its customers better finishes and faster delivery times for flags, banners, stretch materials and tension fabric systems.
